Lara taxi transfer FAQ

Send us four details: your flight number, the arrival date and time, the name or address of your accommodation, and how many people are travelling. Our office answers with one price for the whole vehicle, and as soon as you accept, the booking is confirmed in writing.

The earlier the better, above all in the summer high season. Lara and Kundu are among the busiest resort areas around Antalya at that time of year, and on the main arrival days our vehicles are often reserved long in advance. Booking as soon as your flights are fixed gives you the widest choice of vehicle class. Only just decided to travel? Get in touch regardless, and we will tell you right away whether a Kundu airport transfer or a ride to Lara can still be arranged.

Everything you need on arrival day, gathered in one message: the pick-up date and time, your flight number, the drop-off address, the number of passengers, the vehicle class, any extras such as child seats with their cost, the agreed price for the vehicle and the cancellation terms. It also shows the number to ring or message if you need us. Please read it through when it arrives and let us know straight away if a detail is wrong.

Yes, just contact us as early as you can, through the same channel you used to book. A new flight number, a different arrival time, extra passengers or another hotel in Lara, Kundu or the city can normally be accommodated, although a bigger group may need a larger vehicle. If you have to cancel, the terms in your confirmation apply. A change becomes final once we have sent you the updated booking in writing.

Of course, and the return can be booked together with your arrival. There is no fixed departure schedule: once you share your flight number and departure time, we suggest a pick-up time that suits that flight and the distance from your hotel, leaving a comfortable margin for check-in and security. Since most hotels in Lara, Kundu and Aksu are so near the terminal, you rarely have to set off very early.

Handing the driver cash when you reach your accommodation is the simplest option; if you prefer another method, ask when we send your quote and we will agree it with you. The price is for the whole vehicle rather than per head, and it already covers the driver’s airport parking, road charges and waiting time. At the hotel you hand over the amount shown in your written confirmation, with no surcharges added on the day.

Inside the terminal building. After passport control and baggage reclaim, head into the arrivals hall; the meeting point there is Welcome desk No:36 Hana Travel, and your driver stands beside it holding up a sign with your name on it. There is no need to go out to the car park or hunt for the vehicle yourself. If the sign is nowhere to be seen, a quick call or WhatsApp message to the number on your booking confirmation lets our team point you in the right direction.

Yes. Because we follow your flight number, our office knows about a delay or an early landing and moves the pick-up to your actual arrival time. The longer wait is not charged, and you do not need to contact us from the aircraft. If you would like reassurance, simply drop us a message once you have collected your luggage.

Yes, we work around the clock on every day of the year, and a night pick-up is priced the same as one in daylight. Late landings are common in Antalya, and with Lara about 20 minutes and Kundu about 15 minutes from the terminal, you are usually at reception not long after leaving the arrivals hall. Book it like any other ride and give us your exact landing time.

That depends on how many of you there are and how much luggage you bring. A saloon car suits up to three passengers, while the Mercedes Vito and the Vito VIP take up to six. Groups of up to 13 or 16 travel in a Mercedes Sprinter, and for larger parties there is a 25-seat midibus and a 45-seat coach. As the price is per vehicle, tell us exactly how many adults, children and bags to expect, and we will quote the class that fits everyone comfortably. No. Every transfer to Lara hotels, to the Kundu resorts or to an address in the city is private, so only you and your companions ride in the vehicle. Once everyone is on board, the driver heads from the airport straight to your accommodation, without stopping to pick up or drop off anyone else. If you would like a brief stop on the way, mention it when you book.

Yes, on request and for children of any age: we can fit a baby carrier, a child seat or a booster cushion. Child seats are a paid extra, charged in addition to the transfer price, and the cost is listed in your written confirmation. Tell us each child’s age when you book, so the right seat is already in place by the time you reach the vehicle.

Tell us what you are bringing and we will make sure it fits. Every vehicle class has a stated suitcase capacity, and prams, folding wheelchairs, sports equipment or a few extra holdalls simply need mentioning when you book. If your luggage outgrows the vehicle you had in mind, we will propose a larger class before you travel rather than squeezing bags onto the seats.

Closer than most visitors expect, because the airport lies east of the city centre. Kundu is the nearest stop at roughly 10 km, a quarter of an hour by road, and Aksu follows at 12 km with a similar drive. Lara itself is about 13 km away, or around 20 minutes. Allow about 25 minutes for both the city centre (15 km) and the walled old town of Kaleiçi (16 km), while Konyaaltı on the western side of Antalya is the longest ride at 22 km, close to half an hour. These figures assume ordinary traffic, and each area has its own page with a hotel list.

There is a good chance it is in Kundu. The big themed palace resorts along the Kundu strip often carry "Lara" in their names, even though they stand further east along the coast than the hotels of Lara proper. For the journey the difference is small, as Kundu is actually a little nearer the airport, but it matters for planning the route. Send us the hotel name exactly as printed on your voucher and we will tell you which area it belongs to, so your transfer to Kundu hotels or to Lara is booked for the correct address.

Sometimes, but not everywhere. Kaleiçi is the walled historic quarter of Antalya, a maze of narrow cobbled lanes where vehicle access is restricted. Where a van cannot get to your door, the driver stops at the nearest point they can reach and helps you carry your bags for the last stretch on foot. Please give us the exact address of your boutique hotel or pension when you book, so the office can plan the drop-off beforehand.

Yes, both are everyday destinations for us. Konyaaltı lies on the far, western side of the city, so the 22 km ride crosses Antalya and takes about 30 minutes in normal traffic; the centre is nearer, at around 15 km and 25 minutes. Holiday flats and apartments are just as welcome as hotels. Give us the full street address or share a location pin, and add the name of the building or complex if it has one.

Usually, yes, especially after a long flight with children or heavy cases. Aksu is about 12 km from the airport and our own garage is right there on Lara Caddesi, so short rides like this are routine for us. You get the same meeting point in the arrivals hall, the same flight tracking and a per-vehicle price agreed in writing before you travel. No queuing at the taxi rank, and no explaining the address when you arrive tired.

Our office can help you in English, German, Russian, Dutch or Turkish, by message or on the phone, whichever is easiest for you. Drivers handle everyday situations in simple English. If there is something the driver should know, such as a particular drop-off point or an elderly passenger who needs a hand, tell the office and we will pass it on.

Yes. Lara Taxi Transfer is run by Hana Travel, the trading name of Hana Grup Turizm, a travel agency registered with TÜRSAB under number A-4899. The Turkish Ministry of Transport has also granted the company a D2 permit for passenger transport, and its vehicles are based in its own garage on Lara Caddesi in Aksu.
