Antalya Airport (AYT) lies on the eastern edge of the city. While areas like Kundu, Aksu and Lara are situated closer to the airport on the eastern side and can be reached without driving through the city centre, Kaleiçi lies further west, inside the city itself. Konyaaltı is positioned on the far western side of the bay. To reach the historic quarter of Kaleiçi, the drive heads westwards from the airport terminals into the Muratpaşa district.
The journey covers a distance of 16 km and takes about 25 minutes by car. As you enter Kaleiçi, you will find yourself inside the historic walls above the old Roman harbour. This area is famous for its narrow lanes of restored Ottoman houses. Because many of these lanes are closed or restricted to traffic, cars cannot reach every single door. Your driver will take you to the nearest accessible point, and you may need to walk the final metres to your destination.

Planning Your Return from Muratpaşa District to the Airport
When your stay in the old town comes to an end, we can arrange your return transfer back to Antalya Airport. This service uses the same private vehicle standard as your arrival. When selecting your pick-up time, please allow for the driving time to ensure you arrive at the terminal with plenty of time before your flight. Your driver will meet you at the pre-arranged point near your accommodation.
