As one of the most popular beaches on the Turkish Riviera, you will find a large offer for young and old
Lara Beach is a sandy beach several kilometers long, which lies in the east of Antalya at the Turkish Riviera. On one side it is separated from its neighbouring beach Örnekköy Beach by rocks and the grounds of a luxurious beach hotel. On the other side, the sandy beach is separated from Kundu Beach by a river mouth. As one of the most popular beaches on the Turkish Riviera, you will find a large offer for young and old. Lara Beach offers you a huge area of light brown sand, which is covered in some sections by small brown pebbles, especially near the water. Large beach clubs provide sun loungers en masse. In between there is more than enough space to make yourself comfortable on your own towel in the fine sand.
Lara Beach offers everything and more
In fact, there is almost nothing that is not available at Lara Beach: The restaurants of the Beach Clubs provide you with delicious food, from solid beach food to somewhat more exquisite cuisine. Depending on the bar offer, there is a huge selection of drinks, from simple coke to exotic fruit cocktails. In some beach clubs on the beach you can even get food and drink delivered to your couch. To make you comfortable, you will find hammocks, beach beds, beach chairs, comfortable sofas, futons and even small pavilions, including bed and table. All beach clubs have showers, toilets, partly also changing rooms and even lockers.
Sport in the sand and in the water
Who wants to do sports can use the volleyball nets ashore, buy a beachball set in the shops or jump off a huge water slide. There is also a wide range of water sports, including jet skiing, banana boat, parasailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing and much more. About every second beach club also has a children's playground and there are plenty of bouncy castles and water playgrounds.
Pure action on the Lara Beach promenade
The promenade in the western section is suitable for cycling and jogging. You can also rent an electric scooter here to race around and it's really fun! On the promenade of the beach you will find other attractions. There is a kart track on which you can make your rounds and a large campground with picnic benches, which is mainly used for grilling during the hot summer months. Especially on weekends there is a lot going on here. Another highlight of this eventful beach holiday could be Sandland: an exhibition of works of art made of sand that changes every year. For example, where else can you find the pyramids of Giza right next to the Roman Colosseum and a larger-than-life Buddha figure a meter away? Everything is completely made of sand in impressive detail work: This is definitely worth a visit!
After sunset you continue on Lara Beach
In the evenings you can have a barbecue and a picnic at the barbecue area. Weddings often take place in beach clubs. From time to time, however, public parties with guest DJs are also held here, some of which go into the morning hours, but not every weekend. If you want to party at Lara Beach, it's best to check with the beach clubs when it's really hot again.
